We have recently received some reports of users who are experiencing issues with subscribing to .ics/ical calendars. To help you get rid of these duplicates, we have released a fix which will automatically clean up your contact list. This fix will clean up duplicate contacts for end users starting August 9, 2023.

Follow these steps to let Outlook diagnose and fix errors in your Outlook mail profile that might be causing the issue. You can create a new Outlook Data File and drag the items in the Lost and Found folder into the new data file. After you've moved all the items, you can remove the Recovered Personal Folders (.pst) file, including the Lost and Found folder. To create a new Outlook Data File, go to Create an Outlook Data File. The steps to access the repair tool vary depending on your operating system. If you can't open Outlook, or Outlook disappears or crashes, one of your add-ins may be to blame or you may need to update Outlook.

Each message also has a mini toolbar when you open the message in a new window. For each message, you can delete it, mark it as unread, flag the message, or pin it to keep it at the top of your folder. Then, each item in your calendar folder is checked for known problems that can cause unexpected behavior, such as meetings that seem to be missing. After you've selected a task, you can use the details pane to do things like add more information, add steps, or mark as important. You can view more than one calendar at a time, add other calendars, choose which calendar to display, and create new calendars. You can use the Inbox Repair tool (SCANPST.EXE) to diagnose and repair errors in your Outlook data file. The Inbox Repair tool checks the Outlook data files on your computer to see if they're in good shape. Use the People page to find, view, create, and edit contacts and contact lists.

If you can open the original Outlook Data File, you might be able to recover additional items. The Inbox Repair tool creates a backup file with the same name as the original, but with a .bak extension, and saves it in the same folder. There may be items in the backup file that you might be able to recover that the Inbox Repair tool couldn't.

When you're done, you might need to restart your computer. Click Options and select any Log file option, then click OK. If you’re experiencing any issues with Outlook on your Windows 10 system, there’s no need to panic. When Outlook is not working, or Outlook keeps crashing pondering upon the cause won’t be of use unless it is a regular issue.

There is a better alternative to windows live mail that is used widely all over the world. While you are logged into your Mac, create a new macOS user account. After doing so, log out of your current account, and then, log back in with this new account. Now try accessing your Outlook email via Safari to see if this resolved this issue.
