October is where the fixture list stops being polite. The month starts with countries, and once that window shuts the Premier League runs four matchweeks without pausing. If you are opening a Bet9ja account this month, the promotion code is YOHAIG.

What the YOHAIG code actually does

Bet9ja puts a promotion code box on the registration form, and it gets skipped more often than you would think. Type YOHAIG into that box and the account is flagged for the welcome offer, worth up to ₦100,000 depending on your first deposit. There is no way to apply it later, which is why the field matters at sign-up.

The code costs nothing to use. New customers only, and the bonus comes with wagering conditions, which is standard across the market. Look at the conditions first so the bonus behaves the way you expect.

Register with promotion code YOHAIG and claim up to ₦100,000 as a welcome bonus.

The Super Eagles close the international window

The Nations League plays two more rounds from the 1st to the 6th, and the clubs sit out until after that. The Super Eagles finish their break against Russia in Nizhny Novgorod on Tuesday 6 October. A kick-off time had not been published when this was written, so check it on the day rather than assuming.

Four Premier League matchweeks with no gap

Club football restarts on Saturday 10 October. Arsenal versus Leeds United opens it at lunchtime, Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur later that day, and Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield on the Sunday. The 17th and 18th give you Everton against Chelsea, Newcastle United versus Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest against Arsenal.

The third matchweek opens on Friday 23 October with Ipswich Town against Nottingham Forest and runs through to Chelsea hosting Tottenham Hotspur on the Saturday evening. October finishes on Saturday 31st, Chelsea versus Manchester United at lunchtime and Aston Villa against Fulham in the evening.

One thing hanging over the month: Manchester City have reportedly been found guilty on almost all of the 115 charges brought against them. No sanction had been confirmed when this was written. Should a points deduction follow, the outright markets reprice immediately, so read the news before backing anything long-term.

Why kick-off times move on 25 October

UK clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, and Nigeria stays put. Until Saturday the 24th, UK and Nigerian kick-off times read identically. From the 25th onward, add an hour: a match listed at 15:00 in England starts at 16:00 in Nigeria.

How to approach a month this full

Enter the code at registration, not after. YOHAIG only works on the way in. Set a monthly figure before the clubs come back and stick to it. Four matchweeks with no break is a long stretch to stay disciplined.
